The Story Behind Ball Breakers:

Our favorite past time besides playing RUGBY  is talking RUGBY.

One of our most talked about topics seems to be "Is the womens team a top priority in a club?"

and with much thought and pondering we came to the conclusion that it's not always so...

So with much research and much more research in the future we decided to try to get a new club started...a club where the women's team will always be a top priority...an ALL women's club that we like to call BALL BREAKERS RUGBY...

What you see is a work in progress...and hopefully someday a reality 

 

Nic and Randy both started playing RUGBY the same year 1998

 

they played for different clubs in different cities but surprizingly they became great friends.

They met when they played Fort McMurray Knights RFC vs. Edmonton Clan RFC the first game of that season.

what is even more shocking is that since that game 5 seasons ago they have not been on the pitch at the same time...haven't played against eachother....why you ask?

Well it might have something to do with how injury prone both of these players are! When Nic is hurt...Randy plays and when Randy is hurt...Nic plays! coinsidence? maybe?
